As soon as I get a car I'm going to hoot so loud she'll wish she didn't write that sign. Louise, that's her with the sign, has more spirit than most people I know. I think it's pretty brave for her, aged 91, to stand there spending her evenings mostly on her own, potentially being ridiculed and, although I find it ironic that hooting for peace is not so peaceful, she's a little gem. I always see her pottering up and down Park Street with that famous little sign and I really truly hope one day it pays off. I hope she gets enough hoots to keep the world peaceful for a lifetime.
